Guesty's Booking Website lets you showcase listings and collect reservations directly without paying channel fees. When guests use the search bar on your Guesty Booking Website, they see the nightly rates for each listing in the search results. You can control how these prices are displayed.
Control how nightly pricing displays to guests
Choose whether your Booking Website displays guests the final price, which includes all mandatory fees and taxes, or just the base price first. This helps you align with price transparency requirements and guest expectations in different regions.
If they haven't selected dates when searching, the displayed listing's "price per night" will be the value of the listing's base price.
If dates are selected, the "price per night" will be set according to the selected dates' nightly rates, including any adjustments you set for these dates (such as if you overridden the base price, or applied a discount).
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Channels to open the dropdown menu. - Select Booking website.
- Click
next to the relevant Booking Website, and select Edit Booking Website. - In the left menu, select Booking settings.
-
Under "Pricing visibility", select your preferred pricing visibility setting:
-
Show final price (recommended): Display the total price per night, which includes all mandatory fees and taxes.
This option is recommended to meet price transparency requirements in many regions. -
Show base price: Display the nightly base rate first. Additional fees and taxes appear later in the booking process.
Note:
When selecting this option, you must check the box to accept responsibility for compliance with any relevant legal requirements.

Understand how pricing appears to guests
When a guest searches with dates
The "price per night" is calculated based on the specific nightly rates for the selected dates. This includes any manual adjustments, such as overridden base prices. In the list view, the price shown is the average nightly price for the selected period.
When a guest searches without dates
The display of pricing depends on the "Show rates when no dates are selected" setting in your booking website settings.
- If the setting is on, the "price per night" defaults to the listing's base price.
- If the setting is off, no pricing is shown in the search results. The price filter, sort options, and prices on the map view are also hidden until the guest selects dates.
Promotional discounts and special offers don't appear in the initial search results. These are reflected only after a guest clicks Book now.
Tip:
Create additional fees on reservations made through your Guesty Booking Website.
To avoid confusion when using pricing tools, review your rate history to identify typical low-season prices, and set your default base price accordingly. This ensures guests see consistent pricing when browsing without date filters and creates a smoother booking experience.
