Reservation reports help you view and manage your bookings more effectively by customizing filters and columns to create tailored reports that display exactly the reservation data you need.
Use the following best practices to get the most out of your reservation reports and gain maximum value from your booking data.
Tailor reports for analysis
Use specific filters and columns to create reports that track exactly the data you need for accurate business analysis.
- Speed up downloads: Remove unnecessary columns and sort by check-in date before exporting.
- Include multi-currency data: When working with multi-currency data, include the "Currency" column to ensure currency symbols appear in your exported file.
- Track pending balances: Add the "Balance due" filter and column to identify reservations with outstanding payments.
- Filter for reservations older than six months: By default, reservation reports only show bookings from the last six months. To view older reservations, use the "Check out" filter. From the dropdown menu, select Is before the last, and then type "180" next to the "Days" textbox.
- Filter by location: Add the "Listing's city" filter or the "Property zipcode" column.
- View creation date on Airbnb: Add the "Creation date – channel" column and filter. This shows the exact date a reservation was created on the booking channel, which is especially helpful for reservations that were imported automatically.
Track revenue performance
Follow these steps to analyze your revenue performance over time:
- Add the “Total payout” column (under "Financial"): This shows the revenue you receive from each reservation.
- Apply date filters:
- Add the “Check-in” filter to see revenue based on when guests stayed.
- Add the “Creation date” to track revenue based on when bookings were made.
- Set up recurring reports: For regular revenue analysis, create custom reports with your preferred date ranges and save them for easy access.
