Guesty Booking Website is our direct booking solution, allowing your guests to browse your available listings and book their reservations directly through Guesty. It is set as a dedicated web page, but you can also embed the Booking Website as a widget in any external website. Currently, there are no limitations to the amount of booking websites you can have. See here an example of a Booking Website.
Tip:
You can skip the optional fields and stages in the Booking Website creation setup, and return to edit them later. Also, in several parts of the setup, you'll be asked to provide the necessary information in English, as it is the default language of the Booking Website. These fields can be translated into other languages later on in the setup.
Before creating a Booking Website, connect your Airbnb account and import your listings to Guesty. Once your listings are added to Guesty, follow the instructions below.
Create a Booking Website
Follow the steps below or watch our video to create a Booking Website.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click Channel, then select Booking website.
- If you haven’t created a Booking Website before, click Create your Booking Website on the main screen. Otherwise, click Create new Booking Website at the top right of the dashboard.
- In the pop-up screen, add your business name to the text field. Your business name will be integrated as part of the website's address, appearing before ".guestbookings.com".
- If the domain isn’t available, you’ll see a notification.
- xxxx.guestybookings.com will be your default domain. You can change it to a custom domain address in the "Optional settings" section.
- Select one of the following options:
- Click Create a Booking Website to create a website instantly, and then select Visit your live website. If you choose this option, this will be the final step of the process. We'll be populating the fields in the setup with our default values, including the following:
- All your properties will be added to the Booking Website
- We'll be using our default templates for your website's logo, background image, confirmation page, and legal documents
- If you have a payment processor connected to Guesty, the reservations' payment method will be set to "instant". If you don't have a payment processor, it will be set to "request to book", using the blocking the calendar (without restriction) option.
- Some features won't be activated, including the "Contact Us" page, the properties map, and the search widget.
You can always return to change the Booking Website settings later.
- Click Go to advanced settings to continue the setup process. Continue to the next steps.
- Click Create a Booking Website to create a website instantly, and then select Visit your live website. If you choose this option, this will be the final step of the process. We'll be populating the fields in the setup with our default values, including the following:
- If you choose to continue the setup, in the “General settings” page, follow the on-screen instructions to add your business information to the relevant fields.
- In the “Select properties” page, select the properties you want to include in the Booking Website.
- In the “Booking settings” page, under “Select how guests book”, click either Request to book or Instant. Learn more about these two options.
Instant booking
In case you want bookings made via the Booking Website to receive immediate approval, select “Instant”. When a reservation is created, its status will automatically be set to “Confirmed” and the relevant dates will be blocked in the calendar. This option requires that you collect guests’ payments at booking. You must connect a payment processor in Guesty in order to collect guests' credit card details.
Request to book
If selecting “Request to book”, the reservation status will be set to “Reserved” upon creation. You can choose how a booked reservation will affect the calendar before it is confirmed either by blocking the calendar (without an end restriction), blocking the calendar for 24 hours only, or not blocking the calendar. Select the relevant option from the “Affect on calendar” dropdown.
Important:
When handling a “Reserved” reservation, you need to set its status manually to “Confirmed” or "Closed". - Under "Booking confirmation page", choose which confirmation page will be displayed to the guest after making a booking, by selecting either “Use Guesty’s template” or “Use your own template”. If you choose to use your own template, fill in the title and body of the message, and add an image.
- Under "Search bar and filter settings (booking widget)", define which features guests can use to customize their search via the Booking Website.
Beta users: You can allow guests to filter by the tags you added to your properties. Use indicative tag names that guests easily identify before activating this filter.
- In the “Company policy” page, select either Guesty’s Privacy & Cookie Policy template or use your own. Also, choose whether to use Guesty’s Terms & Conditions template or your own. Mark the “I read..” checkboxes if using Guesty’s documents. If you choose to use your own policy versions, fill in the title and body of the template
- In the “Design” optional page, follow the instructions to set your homepage image, color theme, and Favicon logo. See our recommendations for uploading photos.
- In the “Contact us” optional page, add your contact information (phone number, social profiles, and contact us form).
- In the “Web analytics” optional page, you can connect your Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Facebook Pixel ID accounts.
- Click Create Booking Website.
- A pop-up message will appear, indicating that your Booking Website is ready. Click either Preview Booking Website, or Continue to dashboard where you can change your Booking Website settings, or delete the Booking Website.
