The first step in using Guesty Lite is to connect your Airbnb account and import your listings. If you do not have an Airbnb account, you will be instructed to create one and connect it to Guesty.
You have the option to import your Airbnb listings at a later time, but keep in mind that at least one listing import must be completed in order to use all of Guesty's features.
Guesty Lite also offers direct connections with Booking.com and Vrbo. Also, you can create a Booking Website.
For all other channels, you can connect via ical.
It takes up to 24 hours to finalize the connection process between Guesty and the booking channel or to link listings. During this time, your Guesty calendar won't sync with the booking channel.
Booking.com
If you have a Booking.com account with existing listings, follow the instructions in link your Booking.com account with Guesty.
Vrbo
- If you do not have one, create a Vrbo account.
- Connect your Vrbo to Guesty. Only one Vrbo account can be connected.

Booking options
There are two possible booking options:
- Instant book: Guests can reserve a property instantly based on availability.
- Non-instant book: Guests can request to reserve a property based on availability.

Messages
- Messages from past reservations are only imported for Airbnb reservations.
Sync time
- Immediate sync: Some booking channels sync immediately for availability, prices, and communication.
- Daily sync: Other data, such as taxes and special requests, may sync daily.

Importing reservations
Reservations made through the booking channel before connecting with Guesty are imported differently based on the check-in date:
- Past reservations: Reservations with a check-in date in the past
- Future reservations: Reservations with a check-in date in the future
