Integrate your Vrbo account with Guesty to manage your vacation rental operations, listings, bookings, and guest communication from one centralized platform.
Tip:
Connection doesn't require a user ID or an Advertiser ID.
This integration supports multiple Vrbo brands worldwide, including:
- Vrbo.com
- Abritel.fr (France)
- Fewo-direkt.de (Germany)
- Bookabach.co.nz (New Zealand)
- Stayz.com.au (Australia)
Limitations
You can connect only one Vrbo account to Guesty.
Before you begin
Complete all the steps below before beginning the connection process.

Skipping any of these steps prevents successful connection.

Connect your Airbnb account to Guesty
Airbnb provides the core integration setup and aligns settings across all channels, including Vrbo. Airbnb connection is therefore mandatory. Vrbo can't connect without it. Connect Airbnb to Guesty before attempting the Vrbo integration.

Disconnect any existing PMS or channel manager from Vrbo
If your Vrbo account is currently connected to another property management system or channel manager, contact Vrbo support to request the removal of any “Advertiser” or “Software” integrations. Wait for Vrbo to confirm the disconnection. This process can take up to two weeks.

Ensure your property is listed in Guesty
Check that your listing is listed and active in Guesty. Only listed properties will appear during the connection process. Unlisted or inactive listings cannot be connected.

Confirm your connection type
Review which Vrbo connection type applies to your account. This ensures you follow the correct setup process.

Verify access to your Vrbo contact details
Ensure you have access to the email and phone number registered with your Vrbo account. You'll need both for login and verification.
Step 1: Connect your Vrbo account to Guesty
Follow the steps below to connect your Vrbo account to Guesty.
Important:
Ensure you complete the prerequisties before attempting to connect your Vrbo account. Skipping any of these steps prevents successful connection.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click Channels and select Vrbo.
- Click Connect to Vrbo.

Check the I don't have a PMS connected to Vrbo box to confirm you are not connected to any other property management software.
If you are still connected to another property management software, click disconnect via Vrbo.
- Enter your Vrbo email and password. These are case-sensitive.
- Click Login.

Enter the verification code received by SMS to the phone number you provided.
Note:
If you don't receive the verification code, check that your phone number is correctly registered with Vrbo, or request a new code after 2 minutes.
- At the top right, click Next.
- On the next screen, your Vrbo listings will appear. To the right of each listing, click the dropdown menu and select the corresponding Guesty listing to link.
- If the listing doesn't appear in the dropdown menu, use the search bar in the navigation bar and enter the title, nickname, or address.
- If no listings appear:
- Make sure they have been created in Guesty.
- Make sure they have been created in Vrbo.
- Check Vrbo for any account restrictions.

Pilot:
Under "Add your Vrbo calendar sharing link", enter your Vrbo iCal link.
If you don't know your Vrbo iCal link, click Where can I find the link? and follow the prompts:
- Click Open your Vrbo calendar.
- You'll be redirected to a new tab. Click Import and export.
- Under "Export calendar":
- Uncheck the Include tentative bookings box.
- Click Copy URL.
- Return to Guesty and paste the URL in the relevant input field.
- At the top right, click Next.
- Next to the Guesty integration email provided, click Copy.
- Click Visit Vrbo to access your account, which will open in a new tab.

In you Vrbo account:
- Navigate to Profile.
- Paste the copied integration email as your second email called "Email 2".
- Save changes.
- Return to Guesty and complete setup.

Step 2: Verify the connection status
Verify your connection status. Your listings will initially show as "Pending". Within one hour, the linked listing(s) will change to "Connected".
