What data is synced between Vrbo and Guesty and where to manage it

When you connect your Vrbo listings to Guesty, the associated data is synced between Guesty and Vrbo. The connection type depends on when the connection was made. This article explains how to identify whether you have a full sync or a limited sync connection type and the differences between them.

Limited sync is exclusive to certain Lite users, depending on when the connection was made.

With limited sync, Guesty partially manages pricing and availability, while most other actions are performed directly in Vrbo. Changes made in one platform can take up to one hour to sync with the other.

Note: Vrbo requires a minimum booking window of 6 months. If your Guesty booking window is shorter, only data within that time frame syncs.

Vrbo limits calendar updates to an 18-month booking window, while Guesty supports updates up to 24 months. Availability beyond 18 months won’t sync, causing discrepancies.

To resolve this, log in to your Vrbo account, navigate to Calendar settings, select Booking window, and set the booking window to "No restrictions" for at least 18 months.
