Setting up an income report

Guesty’s income report provides a comprehensive solution to help you create, view, edit, save, and export financial data across different time periods. Use the report to track property-related metrics and make data-driven decisions to maximize profitability.

Checking report limitations

To use the income report, first connect your Airbnb account and import your listings. You must have at least one active reservation.

The income report includes only confirmed reservations. If you notice any discrepancies in the report, review your reservations to check if bookings were partially or fully canceled or have no monetary values applied.

Locate the income report

Find the income report in the More menu in the top navigation bar. The default view displays key financial metrics for your current month's reservations.

Create a custom income report

Customize your report by adding columns and filters to focus on the data you need.

Follow the steps below to create a customized income report.

Step by step:

  1. Add or remove filters to adjust the data. Filters affect both the table results and the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) summary metrics above the table.
  2. Click next to a KPI for more information.

  3. Click the circle plus icon next to "Filters" and select the desired filter. Enter the relevant information, then click Save.
  4. To edit a filter, hover over the filter name and click the Pencil icon
  5. In the pop-up, make the necessary changes and click Save.

  6. In the top-right corner, click Save to update the current filter or Save as to save it as a new filter.

  7. To delete a filter, hover over the filter name and click ✕ or click the Pencil icon and select Remove in the pop-up.
  8. Add or remove columns by clicking Columns at the top right.
  9. Toggle column names on or off to add or remove them.
  10. Click Save as new custom report.
  11. Type a name for the custom report and click Save

Note:

  • The "Stay dates" filter displays all reservations that include a date within the specified filter.
  • If you encounter a problem adding columns or filters, check that you have at least one reservation with that value. Only values recorded in at least one reservation appear in the report.
