Managing cleaners

Account admins can create a profile in Guesty for regular cleaners who service your properties, to give them access to your account. If needed, their personal details can be updated or removed the account. Cleaners can view specific information in your account, like tasks assigned to them, reservation details (such as status), and the listing's name and address. They can assign tasks to themselves, but can't make any other changes in the account and won't have access to billing or financial information. 

Cleaners are differentiated by their email addresses, so if you find duplicate a cleaner in the account, it's likely they were added with a different email address. Delete the cleaner with the invalid or irrelevant details.

Create a cleaner

Step by step:

1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
2. In the top-right corner, click the profile icon and select User management.
3. In the top-right corner, click New cleaner.
4. Fill in the information and click Send invitation.

Remind a new cleaner to look for your email and click Activate Guesty account to complete their first login to Guesty. The link expires 7 days after it's sent.

Edit a cleaner

Personal details

Step by step:

1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
2. In the top-right corner, click the profile icon and select User management.
3. Select the cleaner you want to edit and make the necessary changes.
4. Click Save.

Groups

Step by step:

1. In the top-right corner, click the profile icon and select User management.
2. Select the cleaner you want to edit.
3. Under "Groups," remove the cleaner from groups by clicking X, or add them to groups by typing the name of the group:
   • If the group exists, it will appear in the dropdown menu. Click it.
   • If the group doesn't exist, type in the name and click it to create the group.
4. In the top-right corner, click Save.

Delete a cleaner

Step by step:

1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
2. In the top-right corner, click the profile icon and select User management.
3. Select the cleaner you want to remove from your account.
4. In the top-right corner, click and select Delete.
5. In the pop-up, click Delete.
