Existing Booking.com reservations with future check-in or check-out dates are automatically imported to Guesty in a non-XML format when you link a listing to Guesty.
Only basic details such as guest name, reservation dates, and room rates are included for non-XML reservations.
The following data must be added manually in Guesty for existing imported reservations:
- Guest details, such as email addresses, phone numbers.
- Guest credit card details.
- The number of guests.
- Reservation alterations, such as canceling a reservation, updating the accommodation fare, etc, made via Booking.com.
- Messages with guests before the reservation is imported.
- Additional fees or extra charges: Only the total room rate is synced. If Booking.com shows separate line items, you must manually update the invoice in Guesty accordingly.

Reservations with past dates will not be imported to Guesty when you link a listing. Learn more about uploading past reservations manually.
Future reservations, created after linking your listing, will be generated in an XML format with their full details.
