Existing Booking.com reservations with future check-in or check-out dates are automatically imported to Guesty in a non-XML format when you link a listing to Guesty. Only basic details such as guest name, reservation dates, and room rates are included for non-XML reservations.
The following data must be added manually in Guesty for existing imported reservations:
- Guest details, such as email addresses, phone numbers.

Guest credit card details, only as active Virtual Credit Cards (VCC), will be added to imported reservations automatically.
Note:
Bank transfer payments are created automatically once Guesty is notified by Booking.com.
- The number of guests.
- Reservation alterations made via Booking.com, such as canceling a reservation, updating the accommodation fare, etc.
- Messages with guests before the reservation is imported.
- Additional fees or extra charges: Only the total room rate is synced. If Booking.com shows separate line items, you must manually update the invoice in Guesty accordingly.
Payment details for imported reservations:
Guest credit card data must be added manually in Guesty. Pilot: Users participating in the pilot, Virtual Credit Card (VCC) data will be added to imported reservations. If you are not in the pilot, VCC data must be entered manually. Bank transfer payments will be created automatically at a later stage once Guesty is notified by Booking.com.

Future reservations, created after linking your listing, will be generated in an XML format with their full details.
