When you collect a payment from a guest, or record a payment, you can view and send a receipt to a guest for specific payments made on the reservation. In addition, Stripe provides receipts that meet card network rules.
Follow the instructions below.
Send the receipt for payments processed or recorded in Guesty
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click More and then select Reservations from the dropdown.
- Click the relevant reservation.
- In the banner at the top of the page, click Balance due/Payout.
- In the "Payments" section, on the relevant payment line, click Payment actions then Send receipt.
- Choose an existing email address or enter a new one.
- Click Send.
Note:
For payments processed by booking channels (such as Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.), Guesty is unable to generate or send receipts to guests. These booking channels process the payments directly and are responsible for providing any necessary payment documentation to guests.
If your guest requires a receipt for a channel-processed payment, please direct them to contact the relevant booking platform directly.
