When you collect a payment from a guest, or record a payment, you can view and send a receipt to a guest for specific payments made on the reservation. In addition, Stripe provides receipts that meet card network rules. There isn't an option to send an invoice in Guesty Lite.
Follow the instructions below.
Send the receipt for payments processed or recorded in Guesty
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Reservation report. - Select the relevant reservation.
- In the left submenu, click Payments.
- Click the relevant payment line to open the details.
- Click Send receipt.
- In the pop-up, choose an existing email address or enter a new one.
- Click Send.
Note:
- For payments processed by booking channels (such as Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.), Guesty is unable to generate or send receipts to guests. These booking channels process the payments directly and are responsible for providing any necessary payment documentation to guests. If your guest requires a receipt for a channel-processed payment, please direct them to contact the relevant booking platform directly.
- Each receipt is issued for one specific payment only. If you need to send receipts for multiple payments to the same guest, you'll need to generate and send a separate receipt for each individual payment.
