For payments handled via Stripe, 3DS is triggered by their own requirements.
Some transactions processed on a card with 3DS verification will require the guest to validate the transaction. We will run the card validation and tokenization by attempting to process a charge on it in the amount of 0.00.
A pop-up will appear to the guest during the reservation process, with a text message sent to the guest asking them to validate the charge. The amount displayed and charged will be 0.00, not the amount of the reservation.
