Within every reservation, you can add three different kinds of internal notes to keep your data organized in one single place:

  • "General notes": For general information about a reservation.
  • "Notes for cleaner": For special procedures or instructions specific to the reservation, such as a reminder to set up a sofa bed or refill coffee.
  • "Notes for guest": For guest information you want to save. For example, remind yourself of an anniversary, mark a returning guest, or note extra services like tickets or tours. To add notes specific to a guest rather than a reservation, add a guest note.
  • "Special requests": When a guest adds a special request during booking via the Guesty Booking Engine, it automatically appears in the reservation's notes section.
  • "Keycode": Most third-party lock providers automatically fill this note with the {{key_code}} variable. You can also fill it manually.

You and guest service experts can write these notes. Learn about all available reservation changes and updates you can make.
