Chekin automates the entire check-in process, from booking to check-out. It saves you time, money, and helps you comply with legal requirements by managing everything online. This includes guest registration and identification, digital signatures, online payments, remote access, sending data to authorities, deposits, tourist taxes, upselling, and more.
See Chekin's legal compliance guides for each country.

Connect Chekin to Guesty
If you are already a Chekin user, you must create a new Chekin account. Download all documentation from your old account first. After you connect the new account to Guesty, contact Chekin to delete your previous account.
After registering for a new Chekin account, follow the instructions to connect Chekin to Guesty .
Sending registration links to guests
Important:
Chekin automatically sends a registration link to guests. Sign in to Chekin to deactivate this option. The link must only be sent via Guesty to work correctly.
After you connect Chekin and register your properties, Chekin sends unique registration links to Guesty. Find these links in the custom field "Chekin guest registration link".
To send a link to a guest, add the variable — {{chekin_guest_registration_link}} — to your automated messages.
The custom field "Chekin guest registration link" may take a few minutes to populate after a reservation is confirmed, therefore avoid setting your automated message to send immediately at reservation confirmation.
Instead, follow one of these options:
- Use a delay: Set the automated message trigger to 20 minutes after reservation confirmation.
-
Use two messages:
- Send an initial message at confirmation stating, "We will send you a link to complete your check-in soon."
- Send a second automated message 20 minutes later containing the Chekin link.
Checking guest registration status
Chekin creates a custom field "Chekin all guests registered". This field updates in real time to show when all guests for a reservation have completed the online registration.
The field's value is "NO" before all guests are registered and changes to "YES" once everyone has completed the process. Use this information to set up other automated messages, such as sending property access details after all guests are registered.
Guest data (name, last name, sex, birth date) also appears as a note in the Inbox thread for the relevant reservation.
