Use this article to understand how to cancel your Guesty subscription or free trial, and the necessary steps to take before your access is revoked.

Before you begin

  • Download important data: Export any information you may need later, such as signed check-in forms or revenue reports. You will not have access to your Guesty data once the account is deactivated.
  • Desktop version: You can only cancel a Guesty account through the desktop version.

Cancel your free trial

If you are on the 14-day free trial, you do not need to take any action. Your trial expires automatically at the end of the 14 days.

Follow the steps below before your trial ends:

  • Disconnect booking channels: Disconnect all connected booking channels (Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo) to regain full control of your external accounts.
  • Export data: export important data such as check-in forms, reports, and documents before your access is revoked.

Once the trial ends, your access to Guesty Lite features will be revoked. To restart your account, contact support to request reactivation.

Cancel your subscription

When you cancel your subscription, you retain access to the account until the end of your current monthly or annual billing period.

Follow the steps below to cancel your plan.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click icon Account to open the dropdown menu.
  3. Select Guesty billing.
  4. In the submenu, select Overview.
  5. Click Cancel my subscription.

After completing these steps, ensure you also do the following:

  • Disconnect booking channels: Disconnect all connected booking channels (Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo) to regain full control of your external accounts.
  • Export data: export important data such as check-in forms, reports, and documents before your access is revoked.

Your account is deactivated at the end of the billing cycle. If you decide to return before the cycle ends, click Resubscribe in the top navigation bar and follow the prompts.

Disconnect channels

Follow the instructions below to disconnect all booking channels.

Important:

Remove Airbnb last. If you disconnect it first, you won't have access to Booking.com or Vrbo in Guesty.

Booking.com

  1. In the Booking.com extranet, remove Guesty as your Connectivity Provider.
  2. Once completed, disconnect your Booking.com account from the Guesty distribution page.

Vrbo

From the Guesty dashboard, disconnect the listing connected to Vrbo.

Airbnb

  1. Sign in to your Airbnb account.
  2. Click Personal info, and next to "Email address" select Edit.
  3.  Replace your Guesty integration email with another address.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Account settings and select Privacy.
  6. Scroll to Connected services, and under “Guesty”, click Remove access.
  7. Confirm by selecting Remove access in the pop-up.
