These troubleshooting methods address common browser-related issues that you may encounter when accessing or using Guesty. Follow the steps below to resolves issues such as:

  • Pages not loading correctly
  • Buttons or features not working
  • Login or session persistence issues
  • Display abnormalities (e.g., missing elements or incorrect data).
  • Pages opening in a different browser

Tip:

Chrome is the recommended browser.

Step by step:

  1. Log out and log back in to your Guesty account.
  2. Update your browser:
  3. Open a private browsing tab and sign into your Guesty account there.
  4. Open your Guesty account in a different browser or device. 
  5. Set Chrome as your default browser. Alternatively, copy the URL into Chrome.
    Restart the process you were working on.
  6. Clear cached data by doing a hard refresh and reloading the page.
    • For Mac: Hold down ⌘ Cmd and ⇧ Shift and then press R

    • For Windows: Hold down Ctrl (Control) and ⇧ Shift and then press R

  7. Clear cookies in your browser.
  8. Disable browser extensions that may be blocking the content
  9. Airbnb: Upload a profile photo, required for verification.
