You can set a primary phone number for your contacts. When a contact has only one phone number, that number will be set as the primary number by default.
Important:
- If you enter a phone number with too many digits, the number will not be saved. This includes numbers imported to Guesty from the booking channel.
- There can only be one phone number for each of your vendors.
Setting a primary number via Contacts
The contacts section allows you to add new guests that haven't booked a reservation before. Follow the instructions below to set a contact's primary phone number.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Operations to open the dropdown menu. - Select Contacts.
- Click on the relevant contact.
- In the submenu, click Contact profile.
- Hover over the "Contact details" section, and click Edit on the right.
- Under "Phone", hover over the field of the relevant number, and click on the star icon to the right. The primary number will be indicated by a blue star.
- Click Save.
